"An inconvenient truth"

How would you like to get “insider” information as to the statistics, the causes, the hard truth, the facts, the current status, the consequences of our government actions, or lack of…
Al Gore’s movie is truly incredible. It is a must see.
I had no idea Global Warming progress was THAT bad.
I walked away from this movie with the conviction that all along, we have been lied to, by the government, which has been pressured by the oil and gas lobby, the automotive lobby, and their own self-administered lack of Leadership.
It reminded me of the tobacco disaster a few years ago, where the tobacco companies paid experts to say that tobacco wasn’t that bad. Same here with the parties involved.
It is not a question as if Global Warming grave consequences are going to happen, but rather when.
To summarize the movie and draw my own conclusions, I would say that we are all going to starve to death as a result of the planet plunging into another ice age.
Once the Gulf Stream, which regulates the whole ocean water currents, goes dead (and it is a very precarious balance between salt water and fresh water when it comes to stability issues), we’re all dead short term.
What is our government doing about it? The sinister answer is, nothing. They push it back to the next administration, then the next, etc…
It is time to take matters in our own hands.
It is not going to happen for us, if we leave it to our government, our greedy oil companies or automakers.
